Eye Spy with my Little Eye...

Credit: Windsor & Eton PhotoArt

Windsor & Eton PhotoArt offers photographic commissions, limited edition prints, personalised and corporate gifts. They are our next high street (s)hero. Born out of the ashes of the pandemic, this brilliant phoenix is truly an inspiration to us. When Nicola's main job in the entertainment industry was impacted by the pandemic, she pivoted and focused on her passion in life: photography and her community.

She “just wanted to give something back to the community.” On her walks she began to spy little aspects of her town that were fun or beautiful. She wanted to give people an “eye spy” activity to do on their socially distanced walks. And “Eye Spy Windsor & Eton” was born.

Independent business owners have creativity, brains, gumption and resilience but one quality they’ve got in spades is a passion for what they do. They love it and it shows. We are pleased to introduce you to Nicola Bell, founder of Eye Spy Windsor & Eton, which has evolved into Windsor & Eton PhotoArt:

You can find Nicola’s beautiful photography on her facebook group, now over 2,000 members strong, at the new @CraftCoop shop in Windsor Yards and in the Eton Tourist Information Centre. Nicola has a way of connecting with her community, and we find this really differentiates her from others in her field. She wants to represent her town perfectly in every shot - and the pride and love that goes into her work shows. Just read the testimonials on her Facebook page and group

She is such a fantastic ambassador for her town and is always delighted to talk about her photography. Talk about loving local; you’ve met someone who embodies the love of Windsor and Eton in every frame.

We are so inspired by Nicola’s spirit and drive. When asked if she could give words of advice or encouragement to others, she said:

“Give it a go, what will you lose if you just be brave and be bold. We have one chance. I’ve always wanted to sell my photos. Trust your instincts. It takes a lot to put yourself out there and the reward is worth the risk.”

Nicola’s positivity and approach is an inspiration to us and her work resonates with so many. She has created a community that follows, shares and loves her work. Well done and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

We want to hear from you, too!
