Heidi Bakery business growth

This Thursday, 8 February, we're bringing our MyRoyalBorough Business Networking Event back to Windsor - and we're delighted that Heidi Studio in The Arches, Alma Road, Windsor are one of our three brilliant business hosts.

Heidi has been bringing proper pastry and patisserie to England for over twenty years. The store was founded in Windsor by Heidi Daniel, who with Edward and Rory, continues to run the business today.

These days the business is much bigger, with the brand new Windsor central kitchen serving over six restaurants – including new site Caracoli in New Alresford and Foggs on the First Floor of Daniel in Windsor.

Although the kitchen & business has grown, many of the baking methods have not; the team handcraft each of the hundreds of items Heidi sell a day using traditional ingredients, many of which are imported from France.

Have you seen the Heidi branded little blue van – “Bakemobile 001” – that transports these products across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire four times a week, where the items are proven and baked off each morning? This process ensures that what hits counters has only minutes before come out of the oven, which in pastry, makes all the difference.

Have you been to Foggs? It is located on the First Floor of Daniel department store, just above Heidi. It’s a spacious, relaxed family-friendly environment that offers the same Heidi bakery produce as downstairs, but with the addition of the famous Foggs cooked breakfasts that it’s served for years.
