Join a My Royal Borough Business Networking Event, to learn and inspire
My Royal Borough Business Networking Events are a friendly, relaxed opportunity to gather with other local businesses; to meet, share tips and ideas, and find out ways in which we can all support each other
Our My Royal Borough Business Networking Events are hosted by Martin Cabble-Reid, of Upgrade Your Day, and known to many by his alter-ego Kevin Cruise, Theatre Royal Windsor’s pantomime comic. Make sure you’re signed up to receive our e-news, to be the first to find out about future events.
You’ll get a chance to introduce yourself & your business, and you’ll get to hear from others. We believe that bringing together people from businesses within the Borough helps create a network that brings mutual benefits to all, for example:
• Is there a local printer that offers better value than your current supplier?
• Can a neighbouring pub or restaurant help with meeting rooms or catering?
• Are you looking for social media marketing support?
• Could you benefit from sharing delivery or transport costs?
• Do you need legal or financial advice?
• Can your business help your neighbours or other business colleagues in the borough?

Who attends?
All businesses based in the Royal Borough are welcome. Our focus has been on small and independent businesses, but all are welcome to join in, collaborate and network.
Whether you’re a regular and experienced networker, or a curious first-timer, you will be made to feel very welcome. Our hosts will introduce you and get you off to a good start.
-

What's in it for me?
You have nothing to lose! You’ll be made to feel extremely welcome, and your fellow local businesses will be interested to hear about you and what you offer. Experience has shown us that when business owners mix, and people meet and greet in person, lasting relationships can be formed; and you’re bound to discover new connections and share fresh ideas.
There is also promotional space available at each event, giving you the opportunity to display some of your products, marketing materials, and at the very least business cards for others to take away!
-

… and afterwards?
After the event, you may wish to contact others you’ve met on the day, and hopefully some will reach out to you. There’s no obligation – but it’s often the follow-up with the contacts you make at these sessions that prove the most fruitful. Read more in our Blogs section.
If you agree to opt-in then we share all attendees email addresses amongst the group, so you can reach out and carry on networking!
