My Royal Borough hopes everyone has had a wonderful and safe reopening. This link provides a useful guide for the business community

Out of respect for The Royal Family, My Royal Borough account won’t be sharing or promoting content until after the funeral of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, in line with corporate comms of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. We thank you so much for your understanding.

We know that many of you may have questions about the funeral on Saturday and the impact it may have on you as a business or resident. While there are more details for the funeral yet to be released, we do not currently require local businesses to close. There is, however, a National Minute’s Silence at 3pm which you may wish to observe. A set of Frequently Asked Questions have been developed by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to help the public and our business community. They will continue to be updated as needed.

In line with government COVID-19 guidelines and public health measures there will be no public processions and The Duke’s funeral will take place entirely within the grounds of Windsor Castle. There will be nothing to see in Windsor on the day of the funeral and guidance is that public should stay at home and watch the coverage of the service on television.

In the meantime, we thank you and wish you the best. Please keep tagging us and sharing your news and we will resume our usual promotional activity next week.
