Windsor Duck Race - can your business sponsor a Duck for charity?

The Annual Royal Windsor & Eton Duck Race takes place on Saturday 29 June 2024 at 4pm, and we are looking for your support in sponsoring business duck(s) for the day.

With the support from our main partners Windsor Royal, the Rotary Club of Windsor & Eton many businesses in and around the town centre, this race has raised over £70,000 over the years for numerous charities and contributed to Christmas lights in Windsor and Eton town centres.

Business ducks are £30 each (we only have 120 available – so your odds of winning are better that the national lottery! We ask for businesses to sponsor a minimum of four ducks.  Simply email David Mahon on the email below with the number of ducks you would like to sponsor, and we will reserve them for you.

To celebrate Euro 2024 finals, we will have several special football themed ducks, for those businesses who sponsor 10 or more ducks you will get this extra themed duck entered into the race for free (there are only 10 of these available and will be issued on a first come first serve basis).  The winner of this prize will receive an inhouse sound bar system. 

Artefood Café were last year’s winners and are keen to make it a double so do register quickly to avoid disappointment. 

As a sponsor your business will be promoted throughout the day to the many thousands of people who attend the Duck Race and the annual Summer Fair in Alexandra Gardens. 

The winning prize for business ducks is a day out on the river with a drinks and food hamper for 12 people. Valued at over £700.00 this is a great prize to thank your staff or entertain clients or customers. There will be a special prize for the first Kings Charles Coronation duck that crosses the line.

We are inviting all businesses to come and support this event as you will be:

• Helping to raise money for charities across the borough,

• Participating in Windsor’s most popular riverside event.

• In for a chance of winning a great prize for you, your staff and clients.

• Helping raise money for the Windsor and Eton’s Christmas lighting Scheme.
