Our comprehensive business support training programme also features:
✅ 30 minute digital Breakfast Briefings with award-winning small businesses who will share their knowledge and expertise.
✅ A five-day Lunch and Learn digital courses offered at lunchtime (60 minute courses).
✅ Access to Engagement HQ, our engagement platform to support collaboration and information sharing across our business community.
Our programme features thought leaders and award-winning businesses from around the country whose stories will hopefully inspire you to innovate and transform our borough offering. We are building a community of businesses who network, share ideas and collaborate, we hope you’ll join us.

A business may qualify for an Innovation Grant where it attends at least 50% of our Lunch and Learn business support training sessions and achieves a score of 15+ points when reviewed for sustainability/resilience, digitalisation or differentiation.

Breakfast Briefing: Swap Shop
Join us for a Breakfast Briefing with the multi-award winning Rachel Hayward, founder of the Swap Shop. Rachel is the founder of Ask The Chameleon – writing winning words for small business and charities to gain new business and exposure through successful bid and funding submissions, as well as award applications. Alongside several prestigious awards including the Queens Award for Voluntary Services, over £12m in funding has been secured to date.
One of the revolutionaries behind The Swap Shop, Rachel has co-created a supportive place for small businesses and charities to swap skills, talents and services, tested during the first lockdown in Derby and now available UK-wide.
