Over 100 million meals have been claimed under the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Nearly 7 million have been claimed in the Southeast alone.

According to Open Table, on the final day of the scheme, bookings had increased 216% compared to the same day the previous year.
The total amount of discount claimed was £39 million and the average discount per meal was £5.67. In Maidenhead, the average was £5.92 and in Windsor, it was £6.56.
